Functional fabrics such as three-proof fabrics, easy-to-remove fabrics, and antibacterial fabrics are increasingly in demand in the consumer market. More and more manufacturers are comprehensively upgrading traditional single-function fabrics to increase the added value of fabrics.
A textile processing factory specializing in the production of polyester tablecloths wanted to give a batch of polyester tablecloths three-proof and easy-to-contaminate finishing. The customer came to us online and proposed to use AATCC 130 easy-to-contaminate performance to test the easy-to-contaminate function of polyester fabrics. The godmother dripped on the fabric, and 70% isopropyl alcohol was used to wipe the old godmother to test the easy stain removal performance of the finished polyester tablecloth.
After understanding the customer’s requirements, our company conducted tests and evaluations using different three-proof finishing agent products and easy stain removal finishing agent products, and then recommended three sets of solutions to the customer:
1. Give polyester tablecloth three-proof effect: Texnology®FCB058 three-proof finishing agent 2%-4%;
2. Give polyester tablecloth easy stain removal effect: use Texnology®FCK010 easy stain removal finishing agent 4%-6%;
3 Give polyester tablecloths both three-proof and stain-removing effects: Texnology®FCB058 three-proof finishing agent 3%/Texnology®FCK010 easy stain-removing finishing agent 3%.
The customer tested the small and medium samples according to the actual situation and found that the feedback effect met the requirements, and then ordered our company’s three-proof finishing agent and easy-to-decontamination finishing agent in bulk for mass production.
