1.Principle:

The hydrostatic pressure experienced by the fabric represents the resistance encountered by water penetrating the fabric. Under standard atmospheric conditions, one side of the sample is subjected to a continuously rising water pressure until three water seepage points appear on the other side. The pressure value when the third water seepage point appears is recorded and used to evaluate the sample. Waterproof properties.

Sample:

6. Notes:

1. Experimental water: distilled water or deionized water.

2. When taking samples, tests should not be conducted on areas with deep wrinkles or creases.

3. Before testing, check whether there is water on the surface of the clamping ring and wipe it clean.

4. When clamping the sample, make the surface of the sample contact the water, and there should be no air between the sample and the water.

5. If the test results are uneven, the single values ​​of the test results should be reported separately.

6. If the front side of the specimen cannot be determined, the single-sided coated fabric coating-side is in contact with the water.Touch, other.

7. Test both sides separately and report the results separately.

8. If the third water drop appears on the edge of the clamping device, resulting in a net water pressure of the third water drop.
