There are two types of raising machines: wire needle raising machines and thorn fruit raising machines.
11 Steel wire card cloth raising machine
According to the different directions of the needle tips on the needle roller, wire needle raising machines can be divided into two types: single-action type and double-action type. It mainly consists of a raising roller, a bristle roller, a guide roller, a needle roller, a vacuum box, etc.
Figure 11-8 shows a double-action wire needle raising machine.
The raising roller is generally equipped with 18 to 40 needle rollers covered with steel wire card clothing. The needle rollers rotate with the raising roller while revolving.
The rotation direction of the needle roller of the single-action raising machine is opposite to the rotation direction of the raising roller. The needle tip points in the same direction and is the same as the running direction of the fabric, as shown in Figure 11-9(a). Adjust the speed of the needle roller to obtain different fluffing effects.
As shown in Figure 11-9(b) of the double-action raising machine, there are two sets of clockwise rollers and counter-needle rollers with the same number on the raising roller, which are installed on the raising roller at intervals. The needle tip of the clockwise roller points in the same direction as the fabric running direction, and the needle tip of the counter-needle roller points in the opposite direction of the fabric running direction. The clockwise roller plays the role of combing and the counter-needle roller plays the role of raising hair. The rotation speed of the raising roller is fixed. Only by changing the running speed of the fabric or adjusting the rotation speed of the clockwise and counter-needle rollers can different raising and combing effects be obtained.
21 Thorn fruit fluffing machine
Thorn fruit is a kind of plant fruit with sharp hooks in the same direction on its surface. It is fixed tightly and evenly on a large rotating roller to form fluff. Roller (or lint roller). When fluffing, adjust the appropriate contact and linear speed between the fabric and the fluffing roller, so that the hooks on the surface of the thorn fruit gradually pull the fibers on the surface of the fabric straight up, creating a fluffing effect. The turning direction of the raising roller is opposite to the running direction of the fabric. There is a brush roller below it, which turns in the opposite direction to the raising roller to brush away the fluff on the thorns. The fluff is sucked out by the vacuum device, as shown in Figure 11-10. .
The fruit fluffing machine is suitable for wet fluffing. The fluffing effect is gentle, has little impact on the strength of the fabric, and has a good hand feel, but the efficiency is low. Most of the thorns used today are metal thorns or plastic thorns.
