Reflective raincoat fabrics, such as coated waterproof oxford cloth, are generally composed of two parts, the fabric and the coating. The fabric feels similar to ordinary clothing.
The coating can perform a waterproof effect. If the coating inside the fabric is damaged, then the poncho will not be able to perform a waterproof effect.
1 Types of reflective raincoat coatings
Generally speaking, there are two types of coatings for ponchos, pu and pvc. What is the difference between these two coatings?
1. The high temperature resistance is different. The high temperature resistance of PU coating is higher than that of PVC.
2. Wear resistance, the wear resistance of pu is higher than that of pvc.
3. The feel is different. The feel of PU is softer than that of PVC.
4. The prices are different. PU has high capabilities in all aspects, so the price will be higher than that of PVC.
Generally speaking, the coating of ponchos is PVC, while law enforcement personnel use PU-coated ponchos.

There are mostly three types of poncho fabrics. What are the differences among these fabrics: Oxford cloth, pongee, and polyester taffeta.
Oxford fabric: made of nylon or polyester fabric, soft to the touch, easy to clean and dry quickly, very easy to absorb moisture, and has good breathability.
Pongyon fabric: It is not much different from the fabrics worn in daily wear, but it has high waterproof performance and is mostly the standard poncho for urban management.
Polyester taffeta fabric: light and thin, durable and easy to wash, high quality and low price, but not too comfortable to the touch.
