Weaving factory temporarily closed for 10 days due to poor business

More importantly, part-time jobs are relatively difficult to find these days, and there are few suitable ones. Unlike in previous years, some factories with poor business did not take holidays early, so workers who celebrated the New Year on-site could take over the work of those workers who returned home early to celebrate the New Year but did not take a holiday. Every year as the Spring Festival approaches, some factories need temporary workers, and it is relatively easy for workers to find part-time jobs. But recently, workers have not returned to their hometowns early, and it is difficult to find vacant positions, especially part-time and temporary workers. This means that textile workers can only rest at home during the holidays without any income.
Weaving operation rate continues to decline

According to the timing of the Spring Festival this year, the holiday for weaving factories should be around early to mid-January. But today’s market is full of rumors that the textile industry’s holiday will be significantly advanced, and many factories will have holidays in December. But this means that this year’s market is basically over. Although there will be opportunities for replenishment and reordering during the “Double Twelve” period, the current gray fabric inventory on the market can completely meet the number of replenishment orders. According to data monitoring from Silkdu.com, the current inventory of gray fabrics in the Shengze market is around 37.2 days, an increase of 1.1 days from the beginning of the month.
Not only weaving factories, the editor also discovered during the survey that many finishing companies, such as coating, printing, laminating and other factories, have shut down and took holidays from time to time since July and August, which has become the norm. Although weaving factories are the first to have a holiday during the Spring Festival every year, followed by dyeing factories, and finally finishing plants, there is a high possibility that finishing plants will take a holiday early this year.
This year, after experiencing the epidemic in the first half of the year, the overall performance of the textile market was unsatisfactory. It began to ease in June, but soon entered the traditional off-season, and then it didn’t improve again until October. It quickly became sluggish again in November, and now some companies are on holiday. Looking back on this year, it seems that there were only about 3 months when the market improved, and the rest of the time was tepid. This has also led to textile companies still not being optimistic about the market situation in the first half of next year. Many textile people even feel that it will be difficult for the market to truly improve in the short term.
