The “Golden Nine” is over halfway, and the current textile market is quite a scene of “big chaos”! In the past, the price of raw materials was rising steadily, and then the quotation of fabrics broke the deadlock. Now it seems that it is the turn of the dyeing factories.

It was reported that “a certain dyeing factory had a warehouse explosion, no barrels, and the dyeing vats were on holiday so that the barrels could be finalized and released!” Immediately afterwards, the relevant personnel responded to the news and said that the dyeing factory had been stuck for a month.

In this way, is the dyeing factory about to take off?

There is indeed a pick-up, and the dyeing vats in the dyeing factory are almost fully open.

As we all know, the printing and dyeing industry is a key link connecting fabrics and clothing.

As early as when the fabric market was experiencing partial sales, the editor began to pay attention to news about dyeing factories. At that time, the textile market was at the intersection of the off-peak and peak seasons, and domestic and foreign trade orders had not arrived in large quantities. The overall situation in the printing and dyeing industry was not optimistic. Orders from some companies had improved, but intermittent holidays, job rotations, etc. were also quite common. It can be said that “some families are happy and some are sad.”

After a month, news of liquidation came out of the dyeing factory. At first glance, it is surprising, but when they see the name of the dyeing factory, people in the industry understand it. It is understood that this dyeing factory is famous for its high fastness. Due to strict control of the process, the quality is extremely guaranteed, but the processing fee is not cheap. For this dyeing factory, phenomena such as warehouse explosions and queues are normal.

A salesperson from another dyeing factory said that currently we have not reached the level of liquidation, but we are indeed much busier than before. As for the dyeing vats, 4-5 are occasionally shut down, which is basically fully operational.

Monitoring data from Silkdu.com shows that since August, the operating rates of printing and dyeing companies in the sample have steadily recovered. So far, the value has remained at 70.3%, an increase of about 6.5% from August.

From this point of view, the current orders of printing and dyeing enterprises have indeed picked up. Most dyeing factories are busier than in the previous period, and their operations are gradually returning to normal. Rushing for goods has become more common.

The number of incoming warehouses has increased and the delivery time has been extended.

When dyeing factory orders improve, it will naturally lead to a rebound in the number of warehouses, thus affecting the dyeing delivery time.

A textile company lamented that there was an order to be dyed last week. The salesperson at the dyeing factory initially said that the delivery time would be 7 days, but this week he told me that the delivery time would be 15 days. Later, the salesman also said that 15 days is considered a normal delivery time, and the delivery time of some varieties has been scheduled to more than 20 days.

Judging from market feedback, the recent performance of the domestic market has been quite impressive, while the foreign trade market has remained mediocre. Since textile companies have domestic orders on hand, they have to pay attention to delivery issues. As the fast response model becomes mainstream, the delivery time for domestic sales orders is generally very tight. Once variables arise and delivery times are forced to be extended, textile companies can easily become passive.

According to a salesperson from the dyeing factory, “The delivery date has indeed been extended recently. Sometimes it is because there is really no time to do it. After all, there are too many warehouses and there are only so many tanks; sometimes it is because big customers are crowded with tanks. There was no space available at once, so small customers could only wait in line.”

Taking this dyeing factory as an example, in terms of warehousing quantity, in early August (8.1-8.10), the average daily warehousing volume was around 450,000 meters, while in early September (9.1-9.10), the daily average warehousing volume exceeded 500,000 meters and continues to rise.

However, some dyeing factories sighed pessimistically. Although it seems to be booming now, the market situation is not yet clear in the later period, and the continuity of orders may face challenges.

In general, as textile orders are successively placed, the recovery trend of dyeing factories has become increasingly obvious, but polarization still exists in the industry.
