Data shows that during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, the water consumption per unit product in the printing and dyeing industry dropped by 28%, from 2.5 tons/100 meters to 1.8 tons/100 meters; the comprehensive energy consumption per unit product dropped by 18% , dropped from 50 kg of standard coal/100 meters to 41 kg of standard coal/100 meters; the water reuse rate in the printing and dyeing industry increased from 15% to 30%.
Nowadays, the ecological safety performance of Chinese fabric workwear has generally reached the international advanced level. Printing and dyeing companies are actively pursuing ISO9000 quality management system certification and ISO14000 environmental management system certification. Many companies have passed Oeko-Tex100 ecological fabric product safety certification. The whitelist governance system jointly promoted by the China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association, China Textile Network Information Technology Co., Ltd. and other units was launched in 2012. During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, a total of 57 printing and dyeing companies obtained qualifications.
In addition, the introduction of the new environmental protection law, the water and air pollution prevention and control action plan, the implementation of the industry’s new water emission standards, and the air emission standards being formulated are also promoting the expansion of the scope of industry supervision. Law enforcement has been strengthened.
The market baptism and in-depth adjustment in the past five years have made the printing and dyeing industry more rational and healthy. The market has selected the real winners. Enterprises in the industry have undergone transformation and upgrading, and their competitiveness has become stronger. But at the same time, companies in the industry should also see that some deep-seated problems in the industry have not been completely solved. The increase in operating costs caused by large amounts of environmental protection investment has put greater pressure on industry companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. The international market has strengthened the control of chemical safety and put forward stricter requirements for the ecological safety performance of export products. In countries and regions mainly in Southeast Asia and South Asia, relying on cost, resources and international trade preferences, the fabric industry has made rapid progress, and its international market share has continued to increase. my country’s printing and dyeing industry is facing increasing competitive pressure in the new international trade pattern. .
