The Fourth Industrial Textiles Branch of the Textile Standardization Committee was established

The Fourth Industrial Fabrics Sub-Technical Committee of the National Textile Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Industrial Fabrics Branch) established the station conference and sub-committee meeting from April 25th to 26th in Zhejiang Held in Haining City, Province. Nearly 80 people including Ma Yongmei, general manager of the company, Tang Jianping, deputy director of Haining Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, Tang Jianbo, section chief, and members of the Standardization Committee and observers attended the meeting.

The meeting began with Yi Xiangrong reading out the reply letter from the National Standards Committee on the reelection plan of the Industrial Fabrics Branch. The Fourth Industrial Fabrics Branch was officially established. The chairman unit is located in the China Industrial Fabrics Industry Association, and the secretariat is located in the Fabric Industry Standardization Institute of the China Academy of Textile Sciences. Li Lingshen is the chairman, Ma Yongmei, Hu Chun , Zhang Yun serves as deputy chairman, Xu Lu serves as secretary-general, and Liu Feifei serves as deputy secretary-general. The Fourth Industrial Fabrics Branch has a total of 55 committee members and 8 observers.

Yi Xiangrong emphasized that the country attaches great importance to standardization work, and introduced that the key points of the national standardization reform are stronger standards, better promotion of standards, higher corporate standards, and more dynamic group standards. At the same time, he also proposed that fabric standardization work, as one of the key areas of consumer product standard planning, should keep up with the pace of national standardization reform to further provide support for improving the quality of fabric products.

Xu Lu, Secretary General of the 3rd Industrial Fabrics Branch, represented the 3rd Industrial Fabrics Branch from the construction of industrial fabrics standard system, standard collection and application, standard formulation, revision and publicity, A summary report was made on standard process governance and supervision and international standardization, and the transition work was explained.

Li Lingshen, Chairman of the Fourth Industrial Fabrics Branch, spoke on behalf of the new Standardization Committee. He emphasized the necessity of standardization reform and started with “new opportunities, new thinking, and new measures.” From this perspective, we strive to solve the shortcomings in standard work. Furthermore, he made important arrangements for the work of the new Standardization Committee in terms of adapting to the standardization reform, establishing a new standard system, and improving the standardization work process.

Sun Ximin, deputy director of the Science and Technology Progress Department of China Fabric Industry Federation, gave a special report on “Current Status and Progress Trends of Fabric Standardization Reform”.

The meeting also commended the advanced units (3) and advanced individuals (5) in the standardization work of the Third Industrial Fabrics Branch, and issued certificates.

After the station conference, Xu Lu presided over a working meeting to review and modify the “National Fabric Quality Standards Committee Industrial Fabrics Branch Charter” (draft), “National Fabric Quality Standards Committee” “Working Rules of the Secretariat of the Industrial Fabrics Branch of the Committee” (draft) and “Work Plan of the Industrial Fabrics Branch of the National Fabric Products Standards Committee” (draft). The meeting unanimously approved the revised charter, work rules and work plan.

At the same time, the meeting also introduced the electronic voting function of the technical committee working platform, and approved the “Fiber Layer Filter Material for Gas Purification”, “Warp Knitted Laminated Geotextiles”, and “Nonwovens for Automotive Decoration” There are 3 national standards for “Fabric and Laminated Nonwoven Fabrics” and 1 industry standard for “Stitch-bonded Nonwoven Base Fabric for Hand-Tearable Tapes”.
