Li Lingshen pointed out that during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, the fabric industry has achieved a series of innovative results in the fields of fiber materials, fabrics, dyeing and finishing, industrial fabrics, fabric equipment, and informatization, achieving It has made breakthroughs in key and common technologies across the industry, and the industry’s independent innovation capabilities, technical equipment levels and product development capabilities have been overall improved.
Despite this, overall, there are still some problems in the technological progress of the fabric industry. The construction and operation mechanism of the industry innovation system are imperfect, innovation resources are scattered, and it is difficult to carry out collaborative and integrated innovation for the industry’s common key technologies. The conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements is low, and some scientific research achievements stop in the laboratory and fail to be industrialized and commercialized; some key technologies are difficult to radiate to the entire industry due to competition and profit distribution and other issues. There is still a big gap between technological innovation and advanced countries. Independent innovation and integrated innovation capabilities are insufficient. Small and medium-sized enterprises have even weaker innovation capabilities due to lack of funds and talents. Insufficient basic research and development of common key technologies have affected the improvement of the overall technical level of the industry. Bottlenecks still exist in the development and application of high-end industrial fabrics. Clean production technology that meets higher environmental protection requirements still needs new breakthroughs. The level of intelligent manufacturing and information application needs to be improved. Standardization construction is still relatively lagging behind.
Li Lingshen emphasized that during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, it is necessary to strengthen basic research on fabric science, promote the research and development of major key common technologies in the industry, accelerate the application and promotion of advanced applicable technologies, optimize and improve the collaborative innovation system of fabric technology, and strengthen Standard support system construction.
