World Trade Organization (WTO) report: China’s foreign trade license renewal
According to the Ministry of Commerce, the World Trade Organization (WTO) recently announced2015Trade Statistics Report, covering195Statistics on trade in goods and services for each economy. WTOReport shows that2015China’s goods exports accounted for13.8%, ranking first; Imports of goods accounted for10.06%, ranking third; exports and imports of service trade accounted for6%and10%, ranking third in both export and import volume of service trade.
In 2015, China’s exports of goods were US$2.27495 billion, down 3% year-on-year; imports of goods were US$1.68195 billion, down 14% year-on-year. In 2015, China’s service trade exports were US$285.48 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2%; service trade imports were US$466.33 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3%.
In terms of major export commodity categories, China’s agricultural exports accounted for 3.2% of total exports in 2015, energy and mineral products accounted for 2.4%, and manufactured products accounted for 94.3%; in 2015, China’s agricultural product imports accounted for total imports 9.5%, energy and mineral products accounted for 21.3%, manufactured products accounted for 64.4%, and others 4.8%. Among the major exporting countries and regions, the United States accounted for 18% of China’s total exports, the European Union 15.6%, Hong Kong, China, 14.6%, Japan 6.0%, and other countries and regions accounted for 45.8%.
In 2015, China’s non-agricultural exports were US$2,229.3 billion, down 3% year-on-year; imports were US$1,492.5 billion, down 15% year-on-year. The top five export products are automatic data processing equipment with US$153.3 billion, radio broadcasting or television transmission equipment with US$136.7 billion, telephones and components with US$88.3 billion, integrated circuits with US$71.7 billion, and lighting fixtures with US$35.8 billion. The top five imported products were integrated circuits with US$231.9 billion, crude oil with US$134.3 billion, iron ore with US$57.8 billion, school equipment with US$46.3 billion, and telephones and components with US$45.4 billion.
