The Shonan Textile Industry Base Project Construction Scheduling Meeting was held
On the afternoon of March 27, the Xiangnan Textile Industry Base Project Construction Scheduling Meeting was held. Wu Lesheng, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, attended and emphasized that we will resolutely support whatever is needed, sprint with all our strength, and quickly promote the construction of the Xiangnan Textile Industry Base Project. Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Luo Weihua attended, and Duan Ming, Chairman of the CPPCC, presided over the meeting.
At present, the construction of textile industry projects in southern Hunan is advancing in an orderly manner. Among them, 22 factories and 23 shift rooms have been built in the apparel production park, 20 factories and 21 shift rooms have been sold, and 11 companies including Xuhua, Yaxuan and Kangjie have been put into operation.
Wu Lexheng emphasized that the Xiangnan Textile Industry Base was included in the province’s “14th Five-Year Plan” key construction industrial park, and was rated as an outstanding provincial key construction project in 2022. The industrial pattern of the entire industry chain is accelerating. All relevant departments must attach great importance to it and make every effort to ensure the smooth completion and delivery of the factory building in April. It is necessary to adhere to a problem-oriented approach, implement precise policies, truly regard the construction of the Shonan Textile Industry Base project as its own business, resolutely support whatever is needed, and make every effort to solve the project’s problems in land, electricity, water, financing and other aspects. It is necessary to implement responsibilities, take the initiative, coordinate and solve the problems and difficulties encountered during the project construction, and fully promote the construction of the Shonan Textile Industry Base project.
Luo Weihua pointed out that all relevant departments must cooperate closely and follow up with all efforts to ensure construction safety and project quality in an all-round way. We must keep a close eye on the progress of the project, do our best to provide good services, and use strong measures and a pragmatic work style to promote project construction with high efficiency and high quality.
