The country’s first cotton-themed corporate bond issuance

Recently, Xinjiang Zhongtai (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Xinjiang Zhongtai Group”) non-publicly issued rural revitalization special corporate bonds (second phase) to professional investors in 2023. The bond is Xinjiang Zhongtai Group’s first special corporate bond for rural revitalization, and also the country’s first cotton-themed corporate bond.

This issue of corporate bonds is hosted by China Merchants Securities Co., Ltd., with an issuance scale of 500 million yuan, a term of 3 years, and a coupon rate of 4.65%.

Most of the funds raised in this issue of corporate bonds will be used for the construction of cotton spinning projects of Xinjiang Lihua (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Lihua Group”) to promote the development of Xinjiang’s textile and garment industryQualityDevelopment.

Lihua Group is the core enterprise of the textile and garment industry sector under Xinjiang Zhongtai Group. It is a group company mainly engaged in the operation of the entire cotton industry chain. It is also a national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization and the largest single enterprise in the domestic cotton industry. . In order to promote the development of Xinjiang’s cotton industry, Lihua Group continues to implement chain extension, strengthening and replenishing the chain. Upstream companies participate in the transfer of millions of acres of land in northern and southern Xinjiang and the construction of high-standard farmland. Downstream companies plan to build a million-spindle cotton spinning project and continue to expand assistance. The results have provided local farmers with local employment and effectively supported the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy in Xinjiang.
