Anqing promotes the development of textile and garment industry at a high level
On March 22, the 2023 China (Anqing·Wangjiang) Modern Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition with the theme of “Yi Fashion Looks to the Future” opened at the Anqing Convention and Exhibition Center.
This exhibition is guided by the China Textile Industry Federation, hosted by the Anhui Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, Anqing Municipal People’s Government, Anhui Textile Industry Association, Anqing Municipal People’s Government Undertaken by the Economic and Information Technology Bureau and Wangjiang County People’s Government. The exhibition aims to accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system, promote the textile and garment industry’s “optimal supply and promote development” actions, and accelerate the formation of an industrial chain, an innovation chain, a capital chain, and atalent chain” The development ecology of “four chains in one” promotes the highquality development of Anqing’s modern textile and apparel industry.
At the exhibition, the signing ceremony of the “Double Recruitment and Double Attraction” project and strategic cooperation project of Anqing’s modern textile and garment industry was held. The city has newly signed 26 projects worth more than 100 million yuan, with a total investment of 11.636 billion yuan, including 16 projects signed in Wangjiang County, with a total investment of about 6.13 billion yuan.
Wangjiang is the national emerging textile industry base county and the first textile and garment county in Anhui. The county has now formed a complete textile industry integrating ginning, spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, printing, garments, washing, and packaging. The chain cluster and the “four from four to” development pattern covering all categories from head to toe, from inside to outside, from old to young, and from summer to spring.
