The city’s sericulture, cocoon and silk industry is relatively stable. Objectively analyze the problems faced by the sericulture cocoon and silk industry in Dongtai City, and propose that policy support, silkworm virus prevention and security, introduction and promotion of high-quality and highly resistant silkworm varieties, moderate development of sericulture, cultivation of new business entities, and mechanization of sericulture We should further increase efforts in intelligent development and research and development of special pharmaceuticals for sericulture to promote the stable development of sericulture.
Meeting suggestions: 1. Optimize the planting layout of mulberry orchards. In accordance with the idea of ”resource aggregation, concentrated concatenation, large-scale development, and standard planting”, we will speed up the adjustment of mulberry planting layout, speed up land transfer, coordinate the development of grain, mulberry and vegetable mulberry, and realize zoned planting of grain, vegetable and mulberry garden. 2. Cultivate new business entities. Encourage village collectives, leading enterprises, cocoon station personnel, farmer brokers, and large sericulture households to establish new sericulture production and management entities such as sericulture cooperatives, sericulture family farms, etc. through mulberry orchard transfer, mulberry orchard subcontracting, planting and raising, and flower arrangement to fill gaps. . 3. Promote sericulture social services. Specially arrange land for facilities to support the construction of factory-style silkworm co-breeding rooms; promote socialized services for sericulture plant protection, use existing drones and plant protection machinery to expand the scope of services, provide socialized services for mulberry orchards, and improve the organization of sericulture production degree. 4. Establish a risk protection mechanism. Realize the risk reserve of silkworm seeds, and start using the reserved silkworm seeds to rescue silkworm farmers who suffer from irresistible factors leading to the death of silkworms while raising silkworms. Improve sericulture insurance, encourage higher insurance standards, and reduce the risks of sericulture farmers raising sericulture. Implement guidance on pesticide use in sericulture areas, and prohibit the use of pesticides and veterinary drugs that have a serious impact on silkworms in the main sericulture production areas during the sericulture period to ensure the safety of sericulture production. 5. Accelerate technological innovation in sericulture. Increase the protection of germplasm resources and local varieties, strengthen cooperation with universities and scientific research institutes, and improve silkworm seed creation capabilities. Accelerate the research and development of silkworm drugs and promote the development and compounding of special drugs for silkworms. Accelerate the “machine replacement” of sericulture production, and accelerate the research and promotion of new sericulture machinery such as mulberry harvesting machines, mulberry cutting machines, and mulberry feeding machines. 6. Strengthen the back-end processing of sericulture. Encourage Phu Yen Cocoon Silk Company, Minxing Cocoon Silk Company, Tianrun Silkworm Breeding Company and related silk reeling companies to introduce foreign capital, reorganize and integrate existing assets, lengthen the downstream industrial chain, and promote the one-stop groupization of cocoon and silk Company building. Increase efforts to attract investment in the industry, strengthen cooperation with enterprises with advantages in sericulture, cocoon and silk back-end processing in Suzhou, Nantong, Zhejiang, Guangxi and other provinces, and strive to introduce 1-2 cocoon and silk companies through various forms such as reorganization, purchase, shareholding, and holding. Later deep processing enterprises will enhance the market competitiveness of the industry and promote high-quality development of all-round industries.
