Suzhou Zhenze Silk Style Town has entered the first batch of provincial characteristic towns public list

On January 11, the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced the first batch of Jiangsu provincial-level characteristic towns to be named, and Suzhou Zhenze’s Silk style town was successful Selected.

Suzhou Zhenze Silk Style Town is based on the spatial layout of “one road, two parks and three sections”, with a total planned area of 3.85 square kilometers and a core area of 0.952 square kilometers. In 2016, the town was listed among the first batch of characteristic towns in the country. In 2017, the town was shortlisted as one of the first batch of provincial tourism and cultural towns. In 2020, the town was shortlisted for the cultivation of provincial characteristic towns. The town closely adheres to the theme of “Silk” and takes the path of “endogenous and comprehensive companionship” to integrate silk culture into the production, life and ecology of the town, creating a rich silk charm, distinctive tourism format, strong humanistic atmosphere and ecological environment.
