Wuzhou City Mengshan County CocoonSilk Rural Industry Integrated Development Demonstration Park was shortlisted for creation.
The Cocoon and Silk Rural Industry Integrated Development Demonstration Park in Mengshan County, Wuzhou City is located in Xinwei Village, Xiecun Village, Shuangdong Village, Silian Village, Xinwei Town, Mengshan County, Wuzhou City, and Longpan Village, Mengshan Town, and Xinwei Village. Liancun and Meijiang communities (Gujiaping Industrial Park and Silk Art Town in Menshan County) have a total area of 8,367 acres, a demonstration park core area of 6,957 acres, a radiation area of 1,410 acres, and a total output value of the agricultural industry chain of 2.595 billion yuan. The demonstration park will be supported by scientific breeding of silkworms, based on planting mulberry and raising silkworms, extending with the deep processing of silkworms and silk as its core, and extending with the characteristics of green and low-carbon circular economy, creating an industrial chain focusing on the deep processing of silkworms.
