Metric inspection is based on batches, and the calculation sequence is as follows: (1) Calculate the net weight. Net weight = gross weight – weight of packaging (2) Calculate the accurate weight. Accurate weight = net weight × (100 – actual impurity content) / (100 – standard impurity content) (3) Calculate the official weight. Conventional weight = accurate weight %, standard moisture regain 8.5%, actual impurity content 2%, and actual moisture regain 8%, the values when substituted into the formula are 2.5, 8.5, 2, and 8 respectively, instead of 2.5%, 8.5%, 2%, and 8% . In order to facilitate everyone’s understanding, here is an example: A certain batch of 229 sawtooth cotton has a net weight of 40.372 tons, an actual measured impurity content of 1.8%, and a moisture regain rate of 7.5%. The nominal weight is calculated and the result is rounded to 0.001 tons. Official weight = Net weight × (100-actual impurity content) × (100 + official moisture regain) / (100 – standard impurity content) × (100 + actual moisture regain) = 40.372 × (100-1.8) × (100+ 8.5)/(100-2.5)×(100+7.5) =41.040 (tons)
