At the same time, due to production accidents in some companies and the tightening of environmental protection and safety production standards, Shangyu Industry in Shaoxing, Zhejiang has been shut down since this month. Nearly 100 companies in the park have stopped production and there are still no signs of restarting, including Yide Chemical (disperse dye/reactive dye production capacity is 60,000 tons/50,000 tons respectively), Xincheng Dyestuff and other dye and intermediate companies.
Disperse dye prices increased by 1,000-2,000 yuan/ton this week
Recently, the demand for downstream polyester and other products has gradually started, and product prices have been fully consolidated in stages. Disperse dyes have inherent upward momentum; at the same time, the recent contraction of the supply side has caused the production of outsourced intermediate companies (mostly small and medium-sized production capacity) to suffer. Limited, the marginal price impact factors have been significantly weakened, and the leading capabilities of large enterprises have been enhanced; it is understood that the prices of mainstream varieties of leading disperse dye companies have increased by 1,000-2,000 yuan/ton this week, and the current quotation of dispersed black products is about 23,000 yuan/ton.
Subsequent dye price increases are sustainable
