The sericulture industry technical team went to Dalan Village, Zhelong Village and Xinzhou Town Shuidong Village, Longlin County, to provide technical assistance services. Went to the “grain + mulberry” model demonstration base in Dalan Village to provide on-site guidance on early spring soybean management techniques for interplanting mulberry gardens; spring management techniques for grafted mulberry gardens in Zhelong Village and guidance on preparations before raising spring silkworms; pointed out the low-yielding mulberry trees in Shuidong Village, Xinzhou Town Post-renovation management of the garden and standardized planting of the new mulberry garden. According to the climate characteristics of the mountainous areas of Longlin County, different mulberry tree varieties are developed and different methods of sericulture are adopted. It is recommended that the grafted variety – Nongsang No. 14 be planted in high-cold areas and the leaf rearing sericulture model be adopted; in low-altitude areas, solid mulberry trees – Guisangyou No. 12 or Guisang No. 6 is suitable for adopting the strip mulberry breeding model to increase the yield and quality of mulberry leaves in mulberry gardens and increase the income of silkworm farmers.
