Dance with the “Heartbeat” The 7th “Puyuan Cup” PH Value Chinese Knitting Designer Competition came to a successful conclusion
On the afternoon of March 28, the finals and awards ceremony of the 7th “Puyuan Cup” PH Value Chinese Knitting Designer Competition (hereinafter referred to as “Puyuan Cup”) ended successfully in Hall 3 of the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai). The works of 20 groups of outstanding designers who were shortlisted competed at the same venue, bringing a splendid and eye-catching knitting creative show, pushing the atmosphere of the 2023 PH Value China International Knitting (Spring and Summer) Expo to a climax.
As one of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s 2022 Textile and Clothing “Excellent Supply to Promote Upgrading” activities, the competition not only integrates innovative and creative elements to promote the cultivation of innovative and practical abilities in knitted clothing and accessories, but also provides a high-level platform for emerging knitting designers. The display platform with high specifications will further stimulate new impetus for knitted fashion design, expand new channels for knitted product consumption, and promote the fashion transformation and highquality development of the knitting industry.

This year’s “Puyuan Cup” competition has the theme of “Heartbeat that Changes the World”. After strict screening and fair judgment by the jury, 8 sets of entries from the professional group and 12 sets from the college group stood out from the preliminary round and entered the competition. After fierce competition, in the end, the professional group was awarded: 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, 2 bronze medals, and 4 excellence awards.
