Special knowledge training helps foreign trade companies resist market risks
To help Shaoxing region’s export suppliers break through pain points and policy blockages in the industrial chain and accelerate the global innovative development of Keqiao’s textile industry. Recently, a special knowledge training on international trade certification and technical barriers for textile printing and dyeing enterprises was successfully held in Keqiao.
It is reported that this event is sponsored by the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Inspection and Quarantine Science and Technology, Keqiao District China Textile City Inspection, Testing and Standardization Research Institute, etc., Shaoxing Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Co-organized by Textile Enterprises Promotion Association. According to statistics, Shaoxing’s exports of textile and clothing products in the first half of the year were 82.93 billion yuan, an increase of 29.0%. The large scale of total export commodities mainly relies on Keqiao, the largest textile printing and dyeing industry cluster in the country. At present, Keqiao is making every effort to build a modern “International Textile City, Hangshao Star City”. This training activity is carried out against this background.
Nearly a hundred guests gathered together to learn and communicate together. Chen Zi, deputy manager of the business development department of the Zhejiang Institute of Inspection and Quarantine Science and Technology (Hangzhou Customs Technology Center) shared the theme of “Customs Clearance Facilitation Certification (AEO)”; Yuan Yuan, general manager of Shanghai Shiying (SRS) Certification Service Co., Ltd. Xin gave everyone an in-depth explanation of “Textile Voluntary Certification” and other related issues; Wang Yong, a lawyer at Zhejiang Zeda Law Firm, shared with everyone the topic of “Analysis of Several Legal Risks in Textile Trade from Cases”.
“This special training is very targeted, especially in terms of customs law enforcement strategies and reasonable management and control of related risks. It gives our textile companies a good reminder.” The person in charge of a member company of the Shaoxing Small and Medium-sized Textile Enterprises Promotion Association said, The event awakened export suppliers’ awareness of risk management and control, and also provided a favorable way to build brands, that is, the establishment of certification barriers.
